OLD Roy Fredericks Hopi Pueblo Katsina Wood Indian Carver RARE 26” SNAKE DANCER

Recent estate find. I did the research on this Indian and it was done by a well know carver and I believe this is one of his earlier pieces. His smaller carvings are well known to collectors and his 10-12” pieces normally bring -500. This one is 26” tall and much much larger . I can’t even find another one that sold on the net this big so I’m thinking it might be some kind of a display piece. I just don’t know, it was found with the bottom part of the snake Brocken off but as you can see it would be a easy fix , fits together very tight and would be invisible to see when glued. I just didn’t want to mess with it or hide the condition of it. I think this is a special piece worthy of a home is a worthy collection. This is a heavy bulky piece so the shipping might be a little high but I’ll do the best I can and refund any unused shipping money. Thanks and good luck
