    Description

    You are purchasing a monkey
    bagpipes player
    orchestra figurine.  It was part of the Mark Roberts Collection that were reproductions of antique monkey orchestra figurines made by manufacturers like Meissen, Dresden, Sitzendorf and Volkstedt.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks.  There are areas on paint "wear" on the back of the shoulders/arm pit areas but it appears this was original to the piece, see photos 7, 8 & 10.  It measures approximately 9 1/2" tall x 4" long x 3 3/4" wide.  It weighs 1lb 10oz unpacked.  I believe that it is made of porcelain.
