    Description

Presented today is this lovely Hopi Kachina doll, depicting the Koyemsi'kima. This Kachina, showing a Mudhead riding piggyback on another Mudhead, is often confused with the Mudhead carrying the Tuhavi Kachina, but is completely unrelated. Although very popular with audiences, the exact purpose of this figure is not known. This beautiful figure is carved with startling delicacy and detail, and is the work of the highly talented and respected Philbert Poleyestewa, who is renowned for making the finest Tuhavi Kachina dolls. This remarkable carving stands 14 inches tall, and the amazing attention to detail is very apparent in the pictures. This doll would look great in any Kachina doll collection, and both from the standpoint of subject matter and remarkable decoration, it would definitely call attention to itself. Buy with complete confidence, because as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, shipping included. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and Congratulations in advance to the lucky buyer. Best Regards, Rich
