It is a delight to present this beautiful Kachina doll, depicting a Butterfly Kachina. She stands 5 and a half inches tall, and is carved by the young and talented Jacob Cook, an artist i have had the pleasure of working with for several years. These slender, graceful dolls have always been popular, and in this beautiful example he has captured a wonderful sense of dignity and serenity.
Jacob carves traditionally, by hand, and never uses motorized tools (he carves with an Imperial pocket knife, made in Ireland).
