Colorado Sound And Light ACL 24 System with four American DJ DP-DMX4B packs installed.
These are still one of the best looking and easiest systems to set up and use. Each side features 12 GE 4505 Aircraft Landing Bulbs coated with a proprietary Roscoe color coating. They are extremely durable and ultra long life which makes sense as they use them for airplane landing lights! If you found this listing you likely already know how great these systems are.
Each half has two American DJ DP-DMX4B packs permanently installed with one controlling each of the four rows of bulbs and the other powers the rear facing receptacles. There are two t-nut mounts on top and two on the bottom for attaching effects lights, lasers, or any other type of light. Each half can power four different effects or eight total. There is also a pole mount built into the bottom making them super easy to put on a standard light stand. These look like pin spots and each lamp has simple X and Y adjustment making it easy to fill large or small areas. They are also all dimmable allowing you to adjust the brightness to your preferences.
These were sent back for refurbishment about 8 years ago and upon return they ended up in the back room and never used again. They recoated all of the bulbs (the lamps came back with a little texture to some but they still look great) reglued a few loose carpet corners, and checked the wiring. All the lamps/bulbs are good and any questionable lamps were replaced. The carpet could use a vacuum or brushing from sitting in the back room.
Controller not included but almost any DMX-512 controller will work. You might need to change the pack settings to work with your controller but it is all simple DMX-512 control. Packs use standard 3 pin DMX cables (mic cable) making it super simple to hook up!
Lamps are all GE 4505 Aircraft Landing Lights, 28V 50 Watt and replacements are available form Colorado Sound N Light. These were built and sold by Colorado Sound N Light in Colorado and they are always super helpful if you have questions.
We are starting this auction for less than the cost to have them refurbished. These are great systems and cost way more than we care to discuss. We used them for a few trade shows and our annual customer appreciation parties before hosting them at one of our customers establishments. Still one of the best looking systems we have come across even in the LED era considering almost all LED systems essentially look the same.
